1) Cancellation & Refund Policy
Introduction
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all camping bookings made through our website or authorised partners in Rishikesh. By confirming a booking, guests agree to the terms below for cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and no‑shows.
Booking & payments
A full advance or minimum booking amount (as mentioned at the time of booking) is required to confirm your camping reservation.
Bookings are non‑transferable and valid only for the dates and package mentioned on your voucher/confirmation.
Guest cancellation & refunds
Cancellation 15 days or more before check‑in date: Eligible for refund (after deducting any payment gateway/transaction charges).
Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before check‑in: 50% of the total package amount will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days before check‑in, same‑day cancellation, or no‑show: No refund will be provided.
All cancellation requests must be sent through the same channel used for booking (website form, booking portal, or registered email/number).
Early checkout & amendments
Early checkout or reducing the number of nights after check‑in will not be eligible for any refund.
Any upgrade or change requested after booking (such as changing package type, adding meals, or activities) will be subject to availability and revised pricing.
Rescheduling policy
Rescheduling requested 10 days or more before check‑in date: One‑time date change may be allowed, subject to availability and applicable seasonal price differences.
Rescheduling within 10 days of check‑in will be treated as a cancellation; standard cancellation charges will apply, and a new booking may be required.
No‑show, late arrival & late check‑in
Guests who do not arrive on the check‑in date or arrive after meal/activity timings may be considered a no‑show and will not be eligible for refund.
Standard inclusions (like hi‑tea, dinner, evening activities, rafting or other add‑ons) missed due to late arrival will not be compensated in cash or carried forward.
Operator cancellation / natural causes
Camping operations and activities may be postponed, modified, or cancelled due to natural calamities, extreme weather, road conditions, safety concerns, government orders, or other circumstances beyond control.
If the operator cancels the trip and you cannot reschedule, you may be offered either a full refund of the package amount or a credit/voucher for a future date, as per the then‑applicable policy.
Non‑refundable components
Transport, third‑party adventure activities, permits, equipment rentals, and add‑on experiences are subject to their own policies and may be fully non‑refundable.
Payment gateway charges, bank charges, convenience fees, and currency conversion charges are not refundable.
Group bookings & corporate bookings
Different cancellation and refund rules may apply for group/corporate bookings, holiday periods, or special events; such terms will be mentioned in the specific proposal or invoice.
In case of discrepancy, the terms shared in the group booking agreement will override this general policy.
